Animal Crossing Player Shows Off A Number Of In-Game Batman Villain Outfits

An Animal Crossing player has used inspiration from the Batman series to recreate the caped crusader's most famous foes in the charming island world.

One Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has managed to create a number of awesome Batman villain outfits in-game, without using any custom designs in the process. With Halloween almost upon us, there is no time like the present to dress up and show off with some flair, something that one Animal Crossing gamer has achieved with their Batman twist.

The universe of Animal Crossing opens up a world of opportunities for gamers to express their own personal style and fan dedications. The customization options are endless. Fans have used Nintendo's social simulation game to recreate scenes from iconic gaming franchises, host weddings and even create music videos.

One fan has now used the adorable platform to pay tribute to a host of villains from the Batman series, just in time for Halloween. Uploading their video on Reddit, gamer ConnectedPotato rotated through their creations of the scheming antiheroes. From Cat Woman's black aesthetic, cycling through to the bandaged face of Hush and culminating with a monocled Penguin, the variety and attention to detail with the villains is extraordinary. With Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Professor Pyg, Black Mask and Harley Quinn also included in the criminal line up, the dastardly crew make for a jarring juxtaposition to the charming floral backdrop of Animal Crossing. This is not the only example of fans using Animal Crossing as a chance to display their creative cosplays and costumes. When October was first upon us, players wasted no time in dressing their avatars up in a wide range of spooky and witty outfits to mark the Hallowe'en months arrival.

As well as inspiring a flood of creative genius in-game, Animal Crossing has also made the step into the real world. Transcending the virtual gameplay, one fan of the series was so inspired by the creepy in-game Spooky Arch, they recreated the structure on their own drive.

Tomorrow Jack, the Czar of Halloween, is anticipated to arrive on the islands of Animal Crossing: New Horizons players. At sunset, those who have been collecting candy from Nook's Cranny will have the chance to trade with Jack for exclusive spooky items, as well as partaking in some trick or treating with their island's residents. Perhaps Batman 's Poison Ivy will work her intoxicating charm on Jack tomorrow as part of their island's celebrations.
